SpeakerSplit for ChatGPT
Split, transcribe and clean up audio files in ChatGPT
Connect SpeakerSplit to ChatGPT, attach a recording to the chat, and ask for what you need. ChatGPT sends the file to your SpeakerSplit account and brings back the transcript or the download links.
Set it up in ChatGPT
SpeakerSplit connects to ChatGPT through developer mode.
- In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode.
- Add a connector with the address https://speakersplit.io/mcp
- Sign in to SpeakerSplit and press "Allow".
- In a chat, attach your recording and say what you want done.
Attach the file, or paste a link
Every job tool accepts a file attached to the ChatGPT chat, so there is no need to upload it anywhere first. A public link to the file works too.
Things you can ask ChatGPT
- "Split this interview into one track per speaker." Then paste the link to the file.
- "Transcribe this episode and give me SRT subtitles."
